What came first, the chicken or the egg?
...the parents or the children?
...the tree or the fruit?
What came first, the tempter or the tempted?
...the sinner or the sin?
...the cause or the effect?
What came first, the Creator or the created?
...the Lover or the beloved?
...the Bridegroom or the bride?
Why then, if God reconciled us to Himself while we were still His enemies, would we want to craft an ornamental religion of our own design rather than allow the Bridegroom to adorn us with Intimate Treasures He designed uniquely for His Bride? http://intimatekingdom.com/song1-10-decorate/
PJR
"He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
For everything was created by Him,
in heaven and on earth,
the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions
or rulers or authorities —
all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He is before all things,
and by Him all things hold together.
He is also the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead,
so that He might come to have
first place in everything.
For God was pleased to have
all His fullness dwell in Him,
and through Him to reconcile
everything to Himself
by making peace
through the blood of His cross,
whether things on earth or things in heaven."
(Colossians 1:15-20)
